Pallichattambi Release Date Postponed Again
The much-awaited Pallichattambi release date has been postponed once again. The film, starring Tovino Thomas, will now hit theatres on April 15, 2026 (Vishu) instead of its earlier April 9 and April 10 release plans.
This marks the second delay in just a few days, but the makers have now locked a festival release window, which could work in the film’s favour.
Why Was Pallichattambi Delayed?
According to the official statement, the delay is mainly due to censor certification issues caused by the Kerala election code of conduct.
With election-related restrictions in place, there were technical delays in getting the censor certificate, forcing the makers to push the release date further.
Instead of rushing, the team chose a Vishu release, which is considered one of the biggest festive windows in Kerala.
| Update | Release Date |
| Original Date | April 9, 2026 |
| First Shift | April 10, 2026 |
| Final Date | April 15, 2026 (Vishu) |
The shift also helps the film avoid direct competition and gives it a cleaner run at the box office.

Fans are particularly excited about:
- His never-seen-before mass avatar
- High-energy action sequences
- Emotional depth in storytelling
With the Vishu release, expectations are now even higher.
Final Take — Vishu Release Could Be a Smart Move
